Day three of our trip was actually a traveling day. But before we got on the road we went beyond Branson's gaudy main drag into the quaint old town center. We specifically went to check out the Dime (or was it nickel) Store. It claimed to be like walking back in time. And it sort of was except that it was wall to wall crowded. So it was kind of an in and out experience.
But no matter, we found an empty ice cream shop just up the street.
We stopped in a few more shops including a "fancy doll store," as Anna called it. Anna found this "exquisite" peacock fan and requested a picture.
Then we took the long drive back to Wichita. Two days was just not enough time. I'm guessing we'll be visiting again real soon.
