This summer has been one for the books! We have loved the glorious Idaho weather and tried to take full advantage of the long days and cool nights. Here are some of the little things we did.
The kids spent A LOT of time in our new backyard. We inherited a play set and an in-ground trampoline and they have proved to be the best kind fun.
Duck, Duck, GOOSE!
The kids call this the "couch rock."
Our own water slide.
Picnics on the deck.
Anna and Isaac took swimming lessons and improved a ton. These are the only pictures I took the whole session. I suppose I was too busy trying to keep Ben and Sam entertained and out of the pool.
Isaac lost his first two teeth! He seems too little for this, but he has assured me that he is, indeed, growing up.
On the other hand, I wish this one would grow up a little and potty train! This particular day he tried out underwear and I was so excited. It did not last.
The "mountain" in the lot next to our house. The boys have spent many happy, dirty hours digging in this thing.
Anna gave Treat, Isaac's stuffed dog, a birthday party. Isaac was so thrilled and thankful.
Anna and Isaac have been able to go out with Jeff on the boat a few different times.
Isaac is such a cute helper.
Jeff golfing in Sun Valley. (I think?)
Not so fun, but a part of our summer just the same. Sammy fell out of the play house and landed on the foundation.
Anna has burned through countless books this summer. I love that she is such a bookworm.
Grandma Marlene and Aunt Debbie came for a speedy fast visit.
