Mother's Day Photos

I wanted some updated pictures of the kids for myself and the grandmas for Mother's Day. Thanksgiving Point just finished up their annual Tulip Festival, but I figured the blooms would still mostly be out. It was a lovely cloudy day, and it was fun to photograph the kids. The shots aren't perfect, but I love their captured personalities and mannerisms.

 This photo dump is a little Anna-heavy. She was the most eager to pose for me. The boys lost interest pretty quick.

So happy she lost both her front teeth at the same time. (Actually, all four front teeth.)

I buzzed the boys hair a couple days earlier. This is the shortest Sam's has ever been.

After we got some pretty decent shots, we headed to the children's garden. First up, a little dancing.

Goblin Valley

It's so wonderful to be back in the beautiful and diverse state of Utah. One of our family goals is to take advantage of living so close to so many state and national parks. 

Jeff and I both have fond memories of visiting Goblin Valley when we were younger. We were excited to bring the kids. And as a huge added bonus we were joined by the Hepworths, the Lundebergs, and Grandpa and Grandma.

The kids (and adults) spent the majority of the time climbing all the rocks.

The weather was gorgeous for our big hike, but got incredibly windy later on.

Jeff managed to remember a specific spot where he had found geods when he was younger. The kids thought it was pretty awesome and they all found several of their own.

Riding Bikes

Isaac was so excited for his bike to come off the moving truck. He was only able to play with it for two days after Christmas before it was packed up and put into storage for four months. So, we've been taking advantage of the warm days by riding bikes on our quiet street.
