So, I know I'm going completely out of order with the holidays, but I wanted to post some of these great pictures. After this, I think I'm all caught up with developing and posting old pics.

Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day this year. I tried to take some cute pictures of Anna for the holiday and I must say, she delievered. What a cutie! We had a fun week. On Tuesday, Anna had a Valentine's Day party with her friends from Singing Time. Then on Wednesday (the big heart day) Jeff got breakfast in bed from Anna (with a little help from mom) and a homemade cd. Then the next day, when we had a babysitter, Jeff and I went out to Crab Louie's. It was an awesome seafood resaurant. We had their world famous crab cakes and they didn't dissapoint. Jeff then surprised me with a gift certificate for a massage. Yeah! I loved that! Anyway, I feel really lucky to have such a wonderful family to love, and even more blessed because they love me back.

Halloween

These are kind of old, but I thought I'd share some photos from Halloween. Jeff's costume was awesome as Colonel Sanders with his little chicken at his side. I have my 1st place Chili Cook-Off trophy next to him. The other pictures are with our neighbors and Anna's friends. Avery is the cat, Skye is the leopard, and of course our chicken little, Anna. These were taken at our ward Halloween party. It was a lot of fun. They had a costume party, chili cook-off, and then a trunk-or-treat in the parking lot. It was a blast!

It’s a cold day in Richmond. We experienced our first ice storm since moving here last night. It is a crazy experience. Ice covers everything! It is very beautiful. Most schools were closed for the day. It seems a little extreme for school closures, but we’re used to Utah weather where there has to be at least two and half feet to close school. On the news they showed an exciting picture of one and a half inches of snow. It’s a little different here in the East.
Jeff was recently offered a job as program assistant for the Executive Masters of Health Care at VCU. The most exciting part is that the school will now pay for all of his tuition costs. WOW! We are so excited and blessed. It seems like 2oo6 was the year of blessings for us, so I’m excited to see what this year has in store.
Christmas and New Years were wonderful. We were able to visit family in Utah for four weeks from the middle of December to the middle of January. We also were able to make a stop in California and go to Disney land with the Sollis’. Here are some of our favorite memories from the holidays:
1. Anna sitting on the honey pots in Disneyland. It was by far the best “ride.”
2. Eating at the Cheesecake Factory with all the Sollis’s (minus Hepworths). Good food, good conversation, good cheesecake and both Anna and Riser slept the whole time.
3. Eating Hawaiian food with Chris, Susie, & Matt. The overhead music kept playing the same annoying 70’s song over and over and over…
4. Christmas Eve at the Wrights. Always a good time.
5. Liz getting engaged to Matt! Liz was so cute and excited.
6. Christmas Day at the Blacks. Watching Gpa Black build a snowman with the grandkids.
7. Dress and reception center shopping with Mom and Liz.
8. Watching Ethan, Tanner, & Anna ride the rollercoaster at Gma’s.
9. Spending lots of time with Jeff. Even getting to see a movie!
10. Watching a movie with Melba & J.
11. All the various meals and outings with family and friends.
